• At Nezzie™, we value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when using our platform.
1. Definitions"Nezzie" refers to the platform owned and operated by Nezzie.
"User" refers to any individual who accesses or uses the Platform, including Freelancers
and Clients.
"Freelancer" refers to a User offering services through the Platform.
"Client" refers to a User who engages a Freelancer through the Platform.
"Service Contract" refers to the agreement between a Client and a Freelancer for
services rendered.
To use the Platform, you must: Be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts. Comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Provide accurate and complete information during registration and while using the Platform.
3. Account RegistrationTo access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify Nezzie immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Services and FeesNezzie facilitates connections between Freelancers and Clients and provides tools to manage engagements. Nezzie is not a party to any Service Contract between Users.
Freelancers: Nezzie collects a 20% service fee from all payments made through the Platform. This fee covers platform maintenance, marketing, and support services. Clients: Clients are charged a transaction fee of $2 for payments under $40 or 5% for payments over $40 to cover processing costs. Additional fees may apply for premium features or optional services.
Deliver high-quality, professional services as agreed upon in Service Contracts. Comply with Nezzie’s standards for ethical and professional conduct. Acknowledge that Nezzie is entitled to all tips paid through the Platform.
Provide clear and accurate project details to Freelancers. Pay agreed-upon fees promptly through the Platform.
Users must not engage in fraudulent activities or misuse the Platform. Users must not bypass the Platform to conduct transactions or communicate off-platform for the purpose of avoiding Nezzie’s fees.
Payments are processed securely through Nezzie’s payment partners. Nezzie may withhold payments for verification purposes, suspected violations of these Terms, or disputes between Users.
7. Dispute ResolutionNezzie provides tools to facilitate dispute resolution, including three-way calls where Freelancers advocate for Clients. While Nezzie supports dispute resolution, it does not guarantee outcomes or assume liability for the actions of Users.
In the event of a dispute, Nezzie may offer optional mediation services. Mediation does not constitute legal advice.
Nezzie reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account or access to the Platform for violations of these Terms, suspected fraud, or other unlawful activities. Limitation of Liability Nezzie is not liable for: Losses arising from Service Contracts or User conduct. Errors or interruptions in Platform functionality. Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. ModificationsNezzie may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing LawThese Terms are governed by the laws of Magnolia, Delaware jurisdiction. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Magnolia, Delaware jurisdiction.
